We are a small woodworking shop that cares about the quality of the products being built. There is no such thing as perfection but you certainly can try. Most of our products are custom designs and made to order products. One exception are cutting boards. We regularly have a small inventory of cutting boards available. RG Custom Woodworking was created out of a passion to craft things out of wood. The satisfaction of taking some raw chunks of wood and turning them into something practical and useful is very satisfying. Woodworking is a craft that always challenges you to improve your skills. This challenge is what fuels us to grow and get better.

What is a Woodworker or Maker?
Simply put, woodworking is the art of shaping raw wood into a desired and useful product. Not to be confused with a carpenter. A woodworker is someone that uses wood to build functional pieces for your home. A custom furniture maker creates the furniture that was designed for a specific use in your home. Items such as tables, cedar patio furniture, desks, dressers, bed sets, coffee, and end table, custom cabinets plus more.
Materials used can vary from locally sourced wood, plywood, and exotic hardwoods. Our furniture pieces can be finished with a variety of products based on your needs. Some of our preferred high quality finishes are Odie’s Oil and Rubio Monocoat for hardwoods and Benjamin Moore paints for painted furniture.
