​Welcome to those want “the details”. This means you're either a more curious person, or you have an issue, and you want to know how to resolve the problem. If you're the latter, please understand that we are on the same team! We want you to be happy with us and of course our products. We aren't perfect and want a fair outcome for everyone. Let's work together to resolve any issues!

However, if at any time a client becomes rude, inappropriately aggressive, or hateful towards RG Custom Woodworking or any of its representatives (at our sole discretion), it is our policy to cease communication indefinitely. We will not allow our team members to endure verbal abuse from our customers. We stand behind our products and services, but unruly and aggressive behavior will not be tolerated. Please be respectful - businesses are people, too!


Products made from Wood


Most furniture today is made from specifically manufactured materials like plastics, composites, or tiny shredded pieces of wood fibers. For use in commercial and mass production manufacturing processes. Often materials that look like real wood. Are most likely not made of real or solid wood. Basically, you're used to seeing furniture in a big retail store that was made from giant machines and robots, in a controlled production facility usually on the other side of the world. Not something sculpted by actual humans locally.


Products made from real wood are not always uniform and perfectly consistent. Grain patterns, knots, growth blemishes, color changes, and texture variations are all things to celebrate when building with real wood! Our furniture building processes are completed by skilled craftsmen prepared using various tools. Our furniture PROUDLY looks unique and is not something from a high production factory. Celebrate the inconsistencies and character as a mark of pride knowing your piece was created just for you!


​Most of our furniture is built and finished with the intention of being used indoors in a standard indoor climate. Any outdoor use of our furniture may result in warping, cracking/weathering beyond our build expectations for quality. Outdoor furniture requires different materials and finishes, therefor designed for outdoor use. Proper care, and maintenance is necessary to prevent premature failure of the outdoor furniture. With proper care and attention your furniture can last a very long time.


Sales/Return Policy


​All sales are final after the purchased items are released by RG Custom Woodworking ["We"] to the shipping company, the customer, or end user. We are not responsible for any damage to the product(s) after the items have been released. If something gets damaged en route, the customer will be directed to make an insurance claim with the shipping company, then contacting us to reorder the item as the best route forward.


​All sales on custom-made items are final. Our goal is to ensure you are happy with your purchase, so communication is key to resolving any issues.

In order to keep prices fair and maintain appropriate inventory, when necessary, all sales on any bulk-order items are final. Open communication is the best tool for resolution.


All custom order furniture requires a 50% non refundable deposit. The deposit helps secure your spot in our build schedule. This also allows us to pre-plan and purchase the necessary materials in advance of starting your project.  



​Personalization


RG Custom Woodworking is not responsible for any misspelled words, typos, or similar grammatical errors submitted with an order. Text submitted via online forms or email will be used to personalize each item. If an error is made that does not match the provided information RG Custom Woodworking will fix the mistake by redoing or replacing the personalized item when possible.


We will do our best to make necessary changes to a submitted personalization order (mistakes happen!) but we cannot guarantee your request for any changes submitted more than 8 hours after the order was originally submitted.


We do not personalize any item using words of profanity, hate speech, overtly sexual messages, or any other language deemed inappropriate (at the sole discretion of RG Custom Woodworking). In the rare event we deem a personalization request is in violation of this policy, we will contact the client requesting an alternative option, or cancel the order and issue a refund.



​Warranty


We stand behind our products! If you have an issue with your product(s), please get in touch with us! We'll fix or replace it if we can, refer you to someone who can, or provide an alternative solution as we see fit. We operate this business to provide joy to the people who use our products.
